Sellers Commission Rates

Our vendor commission rates are variable. The agreed commission rate is deducted from the hammer price achieved on each lot with a minimum commission of £1 per lot. All of our charges are subject to VAT. We work on a results only basis NO SALE, NO FEE.

Unlike many competitors we DO NOT CHARGE: -

• Unsold lots
• Lotting or cataloguing Fee
• Advertising Fee
• Admin. Fee
  

Payments

The net sale proceeds received from the buyer in cleared funds will be forwarded to the vendor no later than 15 working days after the auction. The net sale proceeds are the hammer prices less commission.

Statement

You will receive a fully itemized statement with your cheque. All we ask is when delivery is made to us you include a delivery note with any range names or stock codes you wish to see on your statement, for easy identification of the item sold and on going stock reconciliation.

Reserves

Any reserve prices must be supplied in writing at point of delivery to our sale rooms. Midland Furniture Auctions can accept no liability for any failure or confusion in applying reserve prices.
